Triffid. Frequently Asked Questions.
How does Triffid help my plants?
Triffid stimulates microbial activity in the soil, which enables the plant to absorb naturally occurring nitrogen and other available nutrients resulting in larger root mass, healthier plants and greener leaves.
How do I apply Triffid?
Use a hose end sprayer, or dilute the product 40 to 1 in a watering can. Apply as a heavy, wet spray directly to the plant root zone.
How often should I apply Triffid?
Triffid can be applied during the planting stage, or to existing plants. Apply Triffid minimally 3 times a year; spring, summer, and fall. For extremely damaged soil you may want to apply up to 6 times a year.
What is the coverage for Triffid?
The 32 oz. hose end sprayer will cover approximately 1500 sq. ft. The 1-gallon bottles will cover approximately 6000 sq. ft.
Where can I purchase Triffid?

What are the ingredients in Triffid?
Triffid is an organic product made from food grade materials.
What if Triffid is accidentally ingested?
Before applying Triffid please read and follow label instructions. Rinse mouth and throat thoroughly with water. Do not induce vomiting. Should irritation occur, seek medical advice.
Can I use Triffid on my lawn?
Absolutely. Mix 3 oz. Triffid to 1 gallon of water. Apply as heavy wet spray directly onto the lawn.
Can I use it on my fruit and vegetable plants?
At this time, Triffid and Vaccinate are not registered for food crop application in the U.S.
What is Triacontanol?
Triacontanol is a natural growth stimulant derived from bees’ wax and plant cuticle waxes. It is believed that Triacontanol directly activates the genes that control photosynthesis, which is why Triacontanol increases plant productivity and yield.
What is microbial synergist?
A microbial synergist, like Triffid, has organic compounds that stimulate the growth of the beneficial microbes in the soil. When these microbes begin to multiply, they generate nitrogen and breakdown the nutrients in the soil naturally rather than chemically.
Can I use Triffid when I have fertilizer restrictions in my area?
Absolutely. Triffid allows the soil to generate nitrogen and breaks down nutrients in the soil naturally rather than chemically. That is why Triffid is not covered by fertilizer restrictions.
Is Triffid good for my roses?
Absolutely.
How is Triffid different from other organic products?
Triffid gets absorbed into the soil and begins to work immediately; other organic products take time to breakdown and become available to the plant.
Is Triffid safe for use in areas where children and pets play?
Absolutely. Triffid is non-toxic.
Can I use Triffid with my current fertilizer program?
Triffid can be used in conjunction with your existing organic fertilizer program. An organic fertilizer needs microbes to break down the nutrients and make them available to the plants so Triffid will improve the performance of your organic fertilizer. Petrochemical based fertilizers actually destroy and reduce microbes in the soil.
