House After Using Wet & Forget

Leslie had been cleaning the outside of his home 2-3 times each year before using Wet & Forget. While living in a humid environment, Leslie often had mold and mildew growth on the vinyl siding of his home. He wanted to try a hassle-free vinyl siding cleaner and discovered Wet & Forget!

What is vinyl siding?

Home improvement expert Danny Lipford says that “vinyl siding and trim is a low maintenance alternative to painted wood siding and trim. Vinyl siding is available in a smooth or textured surface in patterns that resemble wood lap siding as well as cedar shakes and board and batten.”

Vinyl Siding is a great choice to use as the exterior siding of your home. Still, just like any other outdoor surface, there could be the potential for moss, algae, mold, and mildew growth, especially in areas with humid climates.

Maintaining the exterior of your home can be a difficult task. It is important to know what maintenance and outdoor cleaners are best for the specific type of surfaces around your home.

Leslie cleaned more than just vinyl siding

After applying Wet & Forget to the siding of his home, Leslie used the extra product he had to remove the mold and mildew on the stones around his home.

Natural stones, ceramic pots, and brick surfaces can be incorporated into the landscaping around your home, and the maintenance can differ slightly from other outdoor surfaces like vinyl siding.

Leslie had previously been using bleach to clean the siding and landscaped areas around his home where mold and mildew growth was prominent. This became a time-consuming process because before using Wet & Forget, Leslie had completed his cleaning process by hand.

“Wet & Forget made my cleaning routine way easier.” -Leslie T, Sylvania, GA

Wet & Forget removes moss, mold, mildew, and algae stains from most outdoor surfaces, so Leslie was able to use one outdoor cleaning product to clean the entirety of his home’s siding and stone.

This turned Leslie’s cleaning routine, which typically took a few hours to complete, into just 10 minutes.

“I like this product because of its ease of application and keeps my house clean.” -Leslie T, Sylvania, GA.

Wet & forget was a great outdoor cleaning product choice for Leslie because it removed the stubborn moss and mildew on the stone surfaces in addition to his vinyl siding without any bleach.

Using Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Hose End

To use Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Hose End like Leslie, connect any standard US garden hose to the Wet & Forget Xtreme Reach™ Nozzle (if you have a quick connector, make sure to remove it before attaching the hose end).

To reach higher areas of your home, attach the Jet tip. If you want to cover large surfaces and applications at ground level, choose the Fan tip.

Then, turn your water spigot on and aim the hose end towards the surface you want to apply your product to. Turn the dial to ‘ON’ and spray in a sweeping motion from side to side.

If you want to treat a vertical surface, like the vinyl siding on Leslie’s home, apply the product by starting at the top of the surface until you have covered the surface all the way to the bottom.

Once you have finished applying Wet & Forget, turn your water spigot off and turn the dial to ‘WATER’ to release any remaining pressure. You can then remove the hose end from your garden hose until you want to use the product again.
